Chrome Swingarm Extensions Presents:

CHROME SWINGARM EXTENSIONS

You want to stretch your Sport Bike for the drag strip, show or to be different, but don't want to permanently alter your Swingarm?  With a bolt on swingarm extension Kit you can instantly add length to your existing Swing arm with no modifications!  That's right, just bolt them on and go! DSC's swinarm extensions are CNC machined from 100% Billet Aluminum to the highest standards possible, choose from our chrome extensions to your model motorcycle. With DSC’s extensions you will be able to stretch your rear tire from 4"-6", 7"-9" or 7"-12".  A separate brake hanger support is included with our Swingarm extension kits if needed, so there is no need to modify the stock brake torque arm.  All that is required is a longer chain and Extended Rear Brake Lines to complete the setup.

Installation Guide: Safety First! use straps, bike lift or stand and jack to assure bike is stable while working.

Remove rear Wheel: Remove chain adjuster bolts from both sides of the swingarm and then axel bolt and then rear wheel is now removable. Stock swingarm: Remove any plates screws the adjuster block bolts. Now your ready to install your new swingarm extensions. New Extensions: your new swingarm extensions come with 2 backing plates with 2 bolts per side. Use a loctite on threads of bolts and torque bolts to 25 lb-ft. Brake Hanger: If you forgot the brake hanger goes on the right side looking from rear tire. Inside on the right side extension there is a recessed groove that will allow brake hanger to push up inside as a keeper. If you don't have this application you might have to tabs for caliper to press into and for older bikes you will use and extended brake bar. These options keep the caliper from rotating around and locking up inside inside your swingarm extensions, could be fatal if not done right. Rear Wheel: make sure you have wheel clearance from chainguard, install wheel spacers and hand tight axle bolt at this time. Extended Chain: Use a master link remover or if you have a grinder cut links off to fit new desired stretch with master link. Tighten adjuster bolts towards rear wheel until can push down atleast 1/2" on chain. Axel Bolt: Tighten axel bolt to 72.5 lb ft and use a new cotter pin. Spin wheel and make sure it spins freely. Extended Rear Brake Line: Use new bajo bolts and crush washers with new brake line to assure no leaks. Double check your work. YOUR DONE!

Don’t’ forget those Swingarm Spools to help lift up the rear swingarm when installing your new extensions and chain.
